Only The Best of The Best

See the exact online apps & tools that I personally leverage to run my businesses and life to increase my productivity.

These are all the products & services I use to help clients generate more revenue. Some are free, some I gladly pay for. There's a definitely a lot there to consider but hopefully, this list will help.

The Best of The Best

You've probably heard of Leadpages if you've ever googled 'landing pages' or anything of the like, and for good reason.

I've been a proud user of Leadpages since what feels like the beginning in 2013, and what they have built is simply amazing.

Their platform allows you to get setup with beautiful landing pages and build a highly converting marketing funnel complete with lead magnet delivery and more.

It really is amazing and they also offer a great free trial you can get by clicking the link below.

You'll Really Love

After a 5 year love/hate relationship with Mailchimp and researching every ESP (email service provider) I could get my hands on and I finally found the one.

ConvertKit was built from the ground up by email marketers for email marketers. It does everything you need and more, without all the clutter of a bunch of features you'll never use.

Also, I actually ended up saving $50/per month because of MailChimp's pricing model.

I really recommend you check out ConvertKit by clicking the link below. They offer a 30 day no questions asked refund policy, to make you feel a little better but don't worry you'll love it.

Choosing the right host is hands down one of the most important decisions when first building a website. Over the years I've tried over too many hosting providers and I only recommend three depending on your needs and plans.

For Most People

StudioPress Sites is going to be the best option.

This site you're on right now is hosted on StudioPress Sites and I have to say I am in love. I've tried quite a few high-end managed WordPress web hosts but what they've done over at StudioPress is simply amazing.

Their new offering is WordPress made easy without sacrificing power or flexibility.

It’s perfect for bloggers, podcasters, and affiliate marketers, as well as those selling physical products, digital downloads, and membership programs.

So, if you plan on only having one website and you can afford the $30/mo (which is an absolute steal and you'll be so happy to pay it) StudioPress sites is the option for you.

If you are just starting out and realllllly can't afford the cost of StudioPress sites or will be building out more than one website, I'll cover the best hosting options for you below.

If you'll be building multiple sites for whatever reason than I recommend WP Engine.

I actually trust and host all of my websites including client sites on WPEngine. I never knew what I was missing in terms of hosting until I found WP Engine.

Simply the best, fastest and most reliable WordPress hosting available. Amazing customer support, one-click installs, nightly backups & staging. Just to name a few.

On a Budget?

If the cost of the StudioPress Sites option is just a little too high for your budget right now, don't worry. There is a great WordPress web host that I recommend called BlueHost.

With BlueHost, you can have a website for less than $5/mo and it includes 1 free domain for a year ($20/value).

The Best of The Best

FYI If you go with StudioPress Sites you can skip this section because they include over 20 beautiful premium themes free for you to use.

I'm a minimalist at heart and believe less is more. There is no shortage of themes to choose from on the internet but you shouldn't trust your business with just anyone's code. I mostly use two different themes depending on the client and their goals.

Genesis Framework

I start most of my projects on the framework by StudioPress now for a myriad of reasons. The biggest ones being; the flexibility to create beautiful designs, the security, the SEO and most important the clean code that makes for a blazing fast website. It is pretty much the industry gold standard for WordPress frameworks.

One caveat is that you must be willing to get your hands a little dirty with code, or pay someone else, to get the exact results you want.

Beaver Builder Plugin

Unless you want to learn how to code HTML, CSS & Javascript, you'll be needing a page builder.

The best in the game is hands down, Beaver Builder. I'm obsessed with it. Don't let the name fool you, these guys have done it right.

I've tried them all, literally, and this is the best for many reasons.

Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder

This plugin goes together Beaver Builder like peanut butter and jelly. Seriously, they belong together.

If you have Beaver Builder and don't have this plugin, you're missing out big time.

If you or your business has clients, you need a CRM (Contact Relationship Manager). However, trying to find the right Contact Relationship Management application is like trying to navigate a mine field. If you pick the wrong one, you'll at the very least have wasted a lot of time in setup and implementation.

At the worst, you went with a company that charged a hefty sign-on and or setup fee and are now out of money on top of the wasted time.

Lucky for you I'm actually slightly addicted to signing up for new CRM applications and I can confidently say I've just about demoed everything on the market.

After trying almost over 100 different products I can only recommend three.

Designed for realtors but flexible enough for any business, Contactually excels at creating and building relationships.

My main reasons come back to the beautiful and intuitive interface and accompanying iOS app but the biggest reason, is the focus on building relationships.

Pre-loaded with high converting email templates that consistently still start conversations to this day.

There are a ton of great features built into the application to help you nurture new and past relationships as well as stay top of mind with your sphere.

If building real relationships with your clients and sphere is a top priority, then you will definitely want to give Contactually a try.

The Best of The Best

This application has completely changed and propelled my writing and publishing workflow and results.

The Best of The Best

You can have the most bad ass website but if you don't know what your visitors are doing, you're gonna be flying blind. Heap is my favorite analytics tools because of the simplicity and the beautiful interface.
